About
Site Auditor is a free tool that scans any URL for SEO, AI-crawler readiness (GEO), and basic performance issues. Enter a URL and it gets crawled server-side — no JavaScript execution, no headless browser — then scored across those three categories. Every scan produces a permanent, shareable report page.
What "GEO" means
SEO and performance are familiar. GEO — generative engine optimization — is newer: it's whether AI crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot can actually read and cite your content. That means checking for things like llms.txt, structured data, semantic HTML, and whether your robots.txt quietly blocks the crawlers that matter for AI search and chat answers. Almost nothing else checks for this yet.
Reports are public by default
There's no ownership verification here — anyone can scan any URL, and the resulting report page is public and indexable, permanently, the same way PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix already work. An account doesn't claim a site; it's just your own personal history of scans, with a higher daily limit and score tracking over time.
